My Dad’s playing piano for this silent film tomorrow in London. I’ll be hopping along too it’ll be interesting, I’ll try and sneak a picture of him beforehand or something.

The film Gregory’s Girl (1981) had a very low budget, this scene was filmed by a camera dangling on a piece of string being lowered to the ground. The actors also had to wear their own clothes. It still won a BAFTA for Best Screenplay.
